TrueHue 2023 Senior BFA Exhibition
Close minded individuals are catalysts to discrimination against the LGBTQ community as their refusal to open up to inclusivity drives them to inflict prejudice towards the group. This ignorance is caused by the environment one surrounds themselves with at a young age. Exclusivity in the household can also spread into the education system as school curriculums are being changed due to parents' disapproval of topics of LGBTQ, gender identity, and sexual orientation being taught in the classroom.
With TrueHue I want to encourage the instruction of LGBTQ topics is safe to discuss in the classroom to show that it isn't a place you should be scared of expressing yourself. It's ok to be you, show your True Hue!
