Lessons in Weeding

This book reflects the metaphorical narrative of lessons in weeding as it describes the removal of body hair in a way of describing how to maintain a lawn. I combined photography and graphic design to create two different typefaces -- a shaving cream typeface and a hair typeface. The setting takes place in the bathroom which is where hair removal usually takes place. With the name of the title and the contents of the story in contrast to the design of the book cover, I wanted to leave the audience curious as to what the story is about -- leaving them with questions like "why is it in the setting of a bathroom? Why is there shaving cream? Why is there a flamethrower?" etc...
